Multimodal Transport Operations (MTO)  

Multimodal transport is characterized by the use of more than one mode of transport for a single transport operation of goods from origin to destination, usually under a single transport contract.

In these operations, ACOLCEX processes the permits so that goods can circulate within the national territory without being nationalized. This allows for the transportation of goods from any port to the authorized warehouse or Free Trade Zone within the Colombian territory, allowing for the partial and controlled nationalization processes.

Furthermore, ACOLCEX transports goods of foreign origin in the modality of Deposit in Transit Aduanero (DTA), allowing for the movement of goods under customs control from one customs to another.
